Afonso is a typical soccer supporter. His heart and soul are always on the pitch, and no game is lost until the referee whistles the end. From a rural family, he learned early in lift that the results come from commitment and persistence.

Still young, he moved to São Paulo looking for better opportunities, which he was able to realize through his information technology career. In a short time, his remarkable achievements and merits led him to manage many people and complex projects.

His last professional experience before dedicating himself entirely to Bten was as Coordinator of Engineering and Systems Development at Itaú Bank, where he worked for over 11 years, with the following merits:

– Management of complex projects in the area of ​​risk markets and capital markets;

– Control and budget management of acquisitions of systems and technologies;

– Management of systems development team of around 50 people – internal and third parties;

Afonso is married, father of Leonardo and Laura and currently serves as COO at Bten.
